Next-Gen Battery Efficiency: 45 Miles of EV-Only Freedom

The headline for the 2026 model is the new 22.7-kWh battery pack (upgraded from the previous 20-kWh unit). This larger capacity extends the estimated all-electric range to 45 miles. For many Delaware County residents, this means your entire daily commute—from local errands in Springfield to trips near Swarthmore College—can be done entirely in EV mode without using a drop of gasoline.

When you do need the internal combustion engine, the total system output has been boosted to 297 horsepower, providing a more responsive and confident driving experience on I-476 and the Blue Route. To learn more about the engineering behind these updates, read our Mitsubishi Momentum 2030 FAQ.
